The transfer fee has not disclose. But Sky Sports reports it is in the region of £25-30m, plus Wales centre-back Joe Rodon, who has signed a permanent deal with Leeds United.
Gray, who is a central midfielder but has been deployed at right-back a lot in the 2023-24 season. Made 52 appearances in all competitions and finished the season as the Championship’s Young Player of the Year.
Gray had previously been linked with a move to Brentford after agreeing personal terms and planning a medical. But Leeds had a similar offer to Tottenham Hotspur rejected due to unhappy payment structures.
Archie Gray becomes Tottenham’s second summer signing following 18-year-old Swedish midfielder Lukas Bergvall. Who confirmed his move from Djurgardens in February but only became effective on July 1. As well as German striker Timo Werner, who extended his loan at RB Leipzig for another season.
