Antony agent Junior Pedroso believes the Brazilian winger’s future at Manchester United remains open.

“Many clubs in Saudi Arabia and the Premier League wanted him, but Real Betis were the best solution. He is very happy there,” the agent told Fabrizio Romano.

“There is no option to buy and he has a lot of respect for (Ruben) Amorim … His future at Manchester United is still open.”

The
former Ajax man has struggled to hit the ground running in the Premier League, but Antony’s recent displays in recent weeks could point the other way.
Under terms, the Red Devils will sign the player back for the 2025-26 season, however, the Real Betis CEO has expressed interest in signing the Brazilian permanently
this summer. Real Betis CEO Ramon Alarcon has told Cadena Ser that Antony could be part of their squad at the end of the season.
“I think so,” Alarcon said when quizzed on the possibility of signing Antony permanently this summer.
“The CEO of United called me the other day. We have been sending them all the transfer details of the player all week to show them that we are looking after their assets. “
There is a great chemistry with Manchester (United) and with the player. There is a possibility that he will be here next season. Why not?”
As Pedroso said, Antony’s loan deal does not include a transfer clause, meaning Betis would have to negotiate a fee with United if they want to sign the winger permanently.
While United have paid a big sum to sign him, a permanent move could benefit the club overall as they look to recoup some of the initial cost.
