The best way to find out how much natural gas is currently being pumped into your local area is to dig into the local pipeline network.

This will show you the total amount of natural gas that is currently flowing through each individual pipeline.

If your city or town has multiple pipelines that deliver natural gas to a single location, then you can use the information to determine how much is currently coming out of each pipeline.

You can then compare that information to the actual amount of gas that’s currently being released into the atmosphere.

That data is often incomplete and is only available for a certain amount of time.
