If you’re caught with gas in your pocket, it could get you arrested.
If you want to avoid having to face a court martial for it, you’ll need to be careful.
Gas safety expert, Professor Michael O’Neill, has been educating the public about the dangers of gas in recent months.
He said the best way to avoid the gas sniffing police is to be as cautious as possible.
“If you’ve got gas in the pocket and you’re not wearing a mask, it’s going to be much easier for the police to find you than if you’ve done that and you’ve not been in a mask.”
So just because you’re wearing a hoodie and don’t have a mask doesn’t mean you’re going to get sniffed,” he said.”
And if you have a hat on, you’re also going to have to wear a mask.
“Professor O’Neil said that because gas could cause allergic reactions, it was important that you knew what to do in case of an emergency.”
We want people to have a bit of confidence that they’re not going to suffer any consequences,” he explained.”
When people are under pressure, they’re going be a bit more likely to get a bit nervous and make a mistake.”‘
